RESEARCH INTERESTS
Utilization of the electrotransport process as a method of ultra-purifying rare-earth and refractory metals. Development of the thermite reduction process for the economic preparation of rare-earth iron alloys, especially Nd-Fe and TbDyFe alloys. Recycling of rare-earth metal from rare-earth transition metal alloy scrap by liquid metal extraction. Phase equilibrium studies concerning Gd5(SixGe1-x)4 magnetocaloric alloys.
